We adopted a german shepherd from a recue centre a year ago. He is a nervous thing, and has to eat a special diet. We were recommend to use Aunty Caroles, and have done so several times. The staff there have always seemed kind, interested and genuinely like our dog.

We have left our dog with several kennels/carers who have been excellent - but I was totally shocked by the manner, rudeness and approach of this kennel. I would NEVER recommend this kennel to any dog owners. The owner seemed on edge and quite nervous which didn't instil much confidence. The kennel itself seemed in a reasonably good state but there is more to a good kennel than surroundings.

Aunty Carole's was one of the first kennels I ever took a dog to, and I wish that they were all like this. In fact when I moved away from the area I even considered driving all the way back just so my dog coul stay here. Very friendly staff and owners. They absolutely dote on their guests. Each dog is walked (inside) every day and if they are staying over Christmas, gets a present. The kennel block is newly renovated and very clean inside. I would defintely come back here if I ever moved back to the area.
