Haxted Kennels is, like many boarding kennels, a little ramshackle. The office is a bit of a hut and, once you've fought your way past the resident dogs, quite a mess. However, this really has no bearing on the quality of the service at Haxted which is very good. The owners know and understand dogs and show a lot of consideration towards nervous dogs and nervous owners. The only complaint would be that the holding kennels are right next to the car park, so often the dog you've just dropped off is then able to see you get into the car and drive away. Prices are keen and they always seem to have late availability.
